My Favorite Vacation

My favorite trip I've been on is to Costa Rica. Last year, I was a part of the Eco-Club at my middle school. In the club, we learned about eco-friendly ways to do things as well as fundraising for a trip to Costa Rica. We did fundraisers such as can drives and sending used electronics into a company that exchanges them for money. The reason we chose Costa Rica was because it is one of the most environmentally friendly places in the world and we wanted to learn about the many ways they help the planet. The trip was eight days long and was packed with so many different things to do. We drove all over the island in a bus (driving sometimes for hours). Some of the things we did were zip lining, swimming, white water rafting, hiking, an alligator tour, and many other things. One of the reasons I enjoyed this trip so much was because of all of the beautiful sights. We saw so many natural wonders like waterfalls and hot springs during the eight days we were there. We stayed in about five or six hotels each for a day or two. Another reason I enjoyed his trip so much was because I had my friends to enjoy it with.They made the experience even better.

Fall

My favorite season is fall because of the warm colors and cool weather. I also don't play any sports in the fall so that is the time when I relax. For the rest of the year, I'm usually very busy with schoolwork, sports, and other activities but the fall is the part of the year where I have the most free time. My birthday is in early November which is another reason why I like the fall. There are so many other things that I like about that time of year.

Computer Applications

Hi , I'm Kyra and I will be using this blog for my Computer Applications class at my high school. This blog will be used for pictures and paintings of nature as well as short writings.  I like to look at pictures of nature because there are so many different types. There are mountains, forests, rivers, fields, oceans, etc. I also like animals so that will be another part of my blog. My favorite season is fall because I like the cool weather, I like the colors of all of the leaves, and my birthday is in the fall. I also love the winter because of the cold and snow. I also like winter activities like skiing and sledding.There are so many different possibilities for what I could share on this blog because nature is such a vast topic.
